The Gris, as it is affectionately known, has been in continous operation since 1776.`Currently we are offering dine in, dine out, and Gris To Go! Seating for the alfresco experience is available on a first-come, first-served basis, with the exception of larger parties of 7 or more which may be made by calling 860.767.1776. The dining was an experience to savor from the surrounding settings, the covered bridge walkway and the service and food were superb. We had both traditional and unique items. The endive salad with ricotta stuffing was like a buttery cloud and the yuca fries were a step up from traditional potato or zucchini types.

We tried the tasting menu, which changes frequently, and it was amazing!!! Not one item was subpar. Everything was of the utmost quality. Including the staff and cocktails. Highly recommend!!!
