Best Fun Restaurants in Southwest Portland

I am loving the new seasonal menus. Last night my friend and I ate the Spring Carbonara and it was so delicious! This is one of my favorite places to bring out of town guests - it really has everything you'd want in fine dining. Thanks for another memorable dinner!

Chef Alexis was incredible. He helped us celebrate our daughter’s birthday with the perfect mix of humor, kindness, and witty charm. We actually remembered each other from a visit nearly a year ago, and the energy was just as great this time around. I really appreciated his attentiveness and just the right touch of light sarcasm—it made the whole experience feel fun and memorable. Even the moments of “hotness” became part of the comedy, which we loved. The wagyu options on the menu were top-tier, especially the American ribeye. Chef Alexis prepared it perfectly. My entire family was pleased—not just with the food, but with the overall vibe. We’ll absolutely be back—and next time, we’re requesting Chef Alexis or Alex :). No question.

Music was loud so if you're sensitive, a good set of loops really comes in Handy. That said we had a wonderful time, and I will definitely be going back there. Can't wait.

I brought two friends to lunch at Top Burmese Bistro Royale. This was their first time at the restaurant. They absolutely loved it. In addition to great food, the robot server was a wonderful surprise.
