The food was excellent (and hot), and the service was great (and prompt)!

Visited River Rock Kitchen on a surprisingly busy Tuesday night—turns out the convention center nearby was hosting an event. The restaurant is divided into different lounge areas, each with its own dedicated staff. On our side, there was only one person managing the entire lounge. She handled everything from bartending to taking orders, serving food and drinks, and even cleaning up tables. Honestly, she did the work of three people and never missed a beat. Major props to her professionalism and grace under pressure. The food itself was solid—flavorful and served in generous portions. That said, the pricing felt a bit on the higher end for what we got. Still, considering the quality and the atmosphere, it was overall a pleasant experience. Would definitely go back, especially if they added a little more staff support. That one woman was a powerhouse, but no one should have to juggle all of that alone!

Food was exceptional and very good value for the price. Wine pairings were equally good. Service is a bit stretched with a single person manning the host and server roles, don’t expect a lot of chit chat table side. Highly recommended.
