Best Sunday Lunch Restaurants in Nutley

The Brussel sprouts and Chilean sea bass my husband and I ordered were delicious. The spinach pie left much to be desired. We sat outside on a rare warm evening in April to avoid the burlesque show that was about to start inside. It was my birthday and a sign on the table was a nice touch. The booth table we were sat at for 4-6 people did not work- you were sitting way too low for the table. The next table we were moved to was on a significant slope (note: there were MANY other available tables). The third table we were moved to worked out great until we realized patrons or employees were allowed to smoke right on the other side of the tent next to our table. We smelled cigarette smoke off and on our entire meal, a smell we can’t stand. I can’t believe people haven’t complained about it before. There was also a speaker with very loud music right over our head- again, it didn’t need to be so loud as there were only a few tables sat outside. We aren’t picky people generally, but I was very surprised at how the experience did not match the quality of the food.

Hassan was our server. He did an outstanding job and we had a great time. The food is always so good and the service from all the staff is superb

Very impressed! Loved the food and ambience, the branzino Is the best! The staff was also very nice and attentive.

It’s nice in terms of the food, but the music is classic rock, which was a little unusual in terms of what to expect from such a setting. I would anticipate jazz or classical music instead. The service was generally good.

The steak and lobster special was great. We also had the baked clams. We celebrated my husbands birthday. The special came with a bottle of wine. We had a great experience service was great!
