OK, this is a good spot. The location is easy to access, plenty of parking, the staff and server are well trained, professional, competent and polite. We had many different dishes, all were stellar. Service was fine, a bit slow, but otherwise, not much could be improved. Was a birthday dinner, was greeting kindly and warmly, but that was it. Prices are quite aggressive for a suburban location. And note to GM, when someone comes in, that has a special occasion, and has dined in your restaurant many times, and has a reservation, and you have a beautiful dining room, why would you seat us at the table by the front door, 2 feet from host stand, right out in the open, with people buzzing by, when the regular dining room with plenty of open seating was available. Was a bit disrespectful to be honest. This was embarrassing.

As usual, we really liked the pastas. I had the pierogi which was really wonderful. For apps, we had the carrot one and the fritto misto. . both delicious! My friend had the angoletti and loved it and her husband had another pasta, I don't remember which. . .he thought it was too rich and too much sauce, but I tasted it and absolutely would order it next time (if I can remember which one it was!) Anyway, this is always a great place and it was absolutely full, so plenty of other people agree with me. PLEASE come out to the Deerfield Farmers Market again this year to sell your pasta! You were there two years ago and I made sure I got up in time to get the pasta every Saturday.

We had a late reservation due to teen sports, coming in near closing, to celebrate my son’s birthday. No one rushed us at all. No one made us feel bad about having a late reservation. We had amazing service and food!

Casual dining with great food. Great attention by all staff and never felt rushed. Signature drinks were spot on delish. We will be back to this hidden gem!

Food is always delicious! Great sushi - had the Red Dragon Roll.
