Best Romantic Restaurants in Ripon

The patio area is very nice. The menu has a lot to choose from beyond pasta.

My wife and I went for our anniversary. The menus said "Happy Anniversary" on the top of the first page and they wrote it in chocolate sauce on my wife's dessert plate. The food was excellent (Wagyu filet) and they have an extensive wine and spirits selection. It is really expensive (including tip, $370 for two people), but the kind of place you splurge for on special occasions.

Consistently delicious with great service. We can always depend that our guests will enjoy the evening and compliment the entrees they select.

I've taken my family to Verona Cucina Italiana about ten times. Each dining experience was quite pleasing. Every one of the wait staff is extremely professional and always treat us with kindness and respect. They know the specials by memory and are more than happy to repeat them to us with patience with helpful explanations. The food is always very good. Again, the wait staff has always been very attentive even though they are quite busy with other guests. In the end, Verona is a very special place to eat in Modesto, not only because of the food but for the staff and quiet surroundings. The cost of the meal is not cheap but the experience is worth every penny for the quality of service, food, and atmosphere. VCI may very well be the best restaurant in Modesto.

Experience was great. Despite it being Valentine’s Day, things went as best as they could. We had a reservation so we didn’t have to wait too long. Our waitress was super awesome! She got everything right! Overall it was a great evening!
