The meals were very nice. T Senior meals even available for dinner. The fish was that good 1 piece was not enough. Service was good. Staff were friendly. We will all visit again.

We had a bottle of bubbly and a platter for 2 people. The service and attention was on point- available and nearby but not intrusive. The ambience is delightful, lunch emerald green couches, chairs and cushions, gentle lighting and brass finishes. Definitely the spot for a quiet catch up with friends. Small but choiceful menu suitable for sharing with friends. Will definitely be back again.

Had a lovely lunch. My husband and I had the seniors fish,chips and salad . (Yummy) (Our friends had the sSchnitzel and the Parma and they said it was very nice. Staff very friendly.

When your in Ballarat booking and having a meal at the Grand is a great choice the food was wonderful, the lamp shank was superb and from what I seen coming to other tables and to those I was with all the meals are done wonderfully and very fulfilling. The beautiful and very pleasant and skilled Lady we were was fortunate to have be my waitress made a very pleasant evening to grade. Sean the chef and owner has a great place to eats and see a show with comedy and music evenings and good spaces for large and small function groups. Thanks folks for looking after us. Our experience is always fabulous at The George. The staff are always very friendly and courteous. Always a great meal - delicious and value for money. It’s one of our favourites for a great dining experience.
