The name “Ichoume” comes from the address of this street. Ichoume is located on ‘1’ Harbour Street, Darling Quarter. That’s why we named the restaurant “Ichoume” (Choume is used for addresses in Japan. It's a way of breaking a municipality into districts. 丁目(Choume) is ‘city district’, so ‘1 choume’(Ichoume) is ‘1st [city] district’).The design concept of the restaurant is a hangout for adults.The menu is supervised by AKIKO ISHIKAWA, who has accumulated her career in many restaurants. Babylon Rooftop accepts reservations all year round with seasonal minimum spends. Please refer to the booking widget and your specific date for the minimum spend. We take groups of 15-30 guests. For all smaller groups and parties that do not wish to prepay a minimum spend, the venue is available on a walk-in basis. Share style group menus may apply over peak periods. The rooftop offers our meze menu only, if you wish to dine on the restaurant menus, they are only available in our Restaurant. Reservations for the Restaurant inside can be made through the "Babylon RESTAURANT" open table.Additionally, we take bookings of all party sizes for our Limoncello Brunch every Saturday and Sunday with arrival times of 12pm, 1pm or 2pm.
