Next Door is the sister restaurant of Margaret, which, quite literally, sits next door to it at the corner of Bay St and Guilfoyle Avenue. Featuring a rolling 12-hour lunch-to-dinner menu, the bar brings you a selection of specially curated small plates such as Woodfire Grilled Peppers, Cherry Tomatoes with Oregano, Braised Zucchini with Mint, Chilli and Pecorino, as well as an amazing selection of Consorcio, Cuca, Pollastrini, Ortiz and Real Conversas tins with some freshly baked sourdough from Baker Bleu. It's also home to the famous Perry hamburger."It's just a place to get some really nice hospitality, chill out and enjoy your day," Neil Perry.     The interior and the service was top notch however the food was so so disappointing, especially for the price. Nothing stood out and the papas fritas were basically oven chips (like wth). Really gutted I was treating my partner for a special occasion. But as I say the service was really good just a shame the food didnt match as it would of made it a night to remember.

    The popcorn bug sliders were delish as was the steak frites with curry butter & at $37 this is the best steak frites value in town! 🤩 As usual, the service was attentive & super friendly 11/10

    Been many times with friends and it never disappoints ! All of the dishes are fab, the eggplant and burrata dishes are my faves. Service was good, location is great and the food was faultless.

    Great experience. Tasty food taking me back to the dinner party days of thr 80s. Some really great flavours. Good cocktails and wine list. We ate: French Onion dip, sourdough with the tastiest butter ever, sausage roll, cheese royale, minute steak and schnitzel with cauliflower side… and shared the pavlova for dessert!
