In the 12th century, nomadic tribes of Mongol hordes invaded and conquered most of Northern Asia and Eastern Europe under Genghis Khan. Stopping each night to make camp, they would place their upturned shields over their camp fires and cook their meat with wooden sticks….And so the concept of The Mongolian Barbeque was born!!Ok, that’s the history lesson over.
