Vatutto is a family run restaurant, Owners Paul and Myrto Recinella moved from their 16 year Institution at Zios East Melbourne to the Ivanhoe location in 2015. A full renovation was completed recently creating a modern yetelegant atmosphere. Vatutto translates from Italian to ‘Everything goes’ the menu here has a diverse flavour selection from all corners of the earth. Produce here is sourced from premium suppliers, and we use sustainable seafood from Australian or New Zealand waters, Wagyu beef from Gippsland, organic eggs, fruit and vegetables, and quality imported cheese, dairy products and flour. Always a lovely experience. My favourite restaurant. The staff are great. The only complain I had from my last experience was the cutlery. I would have preferred a steak knife for my meal. They replaced with a partially serrated one but was still somewhat inadequate. But this will definitely not change my mind about the standard. I love dining here.

Attentive service really understanding eventhough a group of 8 including 3 children, all orders delivered at the same time and accurately. Very friendly staff who looked after us and absolutely delicious food and wine. Highly recommend the Salsiccia e Friarielli Pinsa and Fritto misto di mare.
