Best Restaurants for a Quick Bite in La Jolla

Great food, cocktails (inventive but with no reliance on shock value) and service. Inside looks nice, but why eat inside when outside is available! The crudo changes, but ours was awesome, as was the beet salad, bone marrow, and prosciutto. The big surprise was the bolognese—v good (I thought it would be boring: wrong).

Great locals place with ambiance, great food and service...

Delicious swordfish plate and pulled pork sandwich were superb. We didn’t want the meal to end because every bite was so scrumptious! Mai Tai’s, coconut shrimp appetizer, and a fantastic Hula Pie with Kioki coffees ended our meal just perfectly! And the view was spectacular from the patio. Can’t say enough good things about our birthday celebration meal! Highly recommend for lunch or dinner while in San Diego seeking the island vibe.

Excellent restaurant truly delicious French cuisine. Highly recommend caviar. Very unique way of presentation.
