Best Restaurants with Private Rooms in Palo Alto

Cafe Pro Bono is one of our regular restaurants. Always excellent food in a warm, friendly environment. Hakeem, the owner is a gem and really cares about his guests. We go there often and are never disappointed.

Our server, Kelly, was outstanding, the ambiance was perfect and the three of us loved our food. A perfect lunch!

They’ve updated the menu with wonderful new entrees that taste great! The “dal pakwaan cannolis are to die for!! soyrizo tofu korma was a savory delight!!! and the tandoori oyster mushrooms made my taste buds swoon!!!! I highly recommend finishing the night with their warm pistachio cake…such a lovely delicate balance of flavors. Just excellent. Compliments to the chef!

We were a party of 10 in the small party room celebrating 2 birthdays. And celebrate we did with the wonderful help of the Il Fornaio staff. This restaurant just always gets it right!! How do they do it? Our server, Paula (sorry if I got that wrong) was superb. A sense of humor and right on with her suggestions for drinks and meals. The food was served piping hot and was the usual wonderful meal. We had a variety of meals including appetizers and drinks, and everyone in my party loved it. Thank you Il Fornaio for doing such a nice job....AGAIN!!!

Quattro is an undiscovered gem (for many) in Palo Alto. The menu has just changed for spring and the Chef has clearly put a lot of effort into making creative dishes that are aesthetically pleasing but even more important delicious!The entire staff at Quattro is warm and welcoming. It’s a pleasant change from the chaos that can be downtown Palo Alto.
