- HHeatherLos Angeles •1 review4.0Dined on Apr 13, 2025The food is amazing! Especially the seaweed salad, the matcha cocktail, the salmon tartar.. absolutely crave worthy! That said, our waitress forgot to bring my friend her cocktail, we waited a long time to cheers to my birthday as a result and then, even knowing it was my birthday kept asking if we were done or wanted to order a desert multiple times instead of just letting us enjoy our conversation or being thoughtful and bringing something as a nod to my birthday and the fact that we waited 20 minutes for the other cocktail to arrive (she probably forgot to order the second one…, it was that delayed). All in all I’d come back but I hope I don’t have that same waitress again. She wasn’t very thoughtful.More infoAzabu RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Sushi• Whittier•4.5
- HHuckLas Vegas •1 review4.0Dined on Apr 9, 2025A very nice restaurant with a killer view of Disney California Adventures at night. The Paella or bomba rice as they call it was excellent even thonthe bottom aka the socarrat was closer to burnt that crispy...still tasted goods when I mixed it all up. Best grilled octopus I've ever had and I'm a chef/Owner of a restaurant in Hawaii. The steak was nothing special, just a plainly grilled with some big salt flakes on the side of the plate. Have to pay $5 per sauce you want with it such a clarified butter, romesco, or green romesco which I ordered. The pork chop which I ordered medium came out a bit overcooked on top of some reduced balsamic glaze that comes in a bottle, I know because I use the same thing at my place. The sea bass I ordered came out a bit overcooked also and the flavor was nothing special. Like a Japanese shio style. The patata braves was nothing special just fried potatoe cubes with some sauces. The croquettes were very good but the portion was on the way too small side. And the green salad was actually good. I gave them 4 stars even tho it sounds like I wasn't satisfied because I'm a chef/Owner so I'll nitpick but the opinions and reaction from the rest of my party was good. They liked it.More infoTop of The VPrice: Very Expensive• Spanish• Anaheim•4.4

- PPabloSan Diego •16 reviews4.0Dined on Mar 23, 2025This was our second time at the Tangerine Room. The restaurant is very quiet and was not very busy during our visit. When we were seated, they took us to the same exact table as our previous visit, but I'm sure they were not aware of this. We had looked at the menu nline, so we knew what we wanted to order. We ordered the scallops as a starter along with a ceasar salad and a wedge salad. The salads were pretty standard, but the scallops a bit disappointing. Scallops were very tiny and they even cut one in half. The taste was ok, but left much to be desired. Our main plates were their pasta boloughnese and the venison dish. The pasta looked appetizing and tasted good. The venison was cooked perfectly and came with two tiny potatoes. The venison had a very good taste. No dessert was purchased as we had other plans for dessert elsewhere. The service was great and very attentive. As this was our second visit, we will probably not come back. Although the service was very good, the food offerings and experience didn't rise to the level that would entice us to return. The price did not match the overall food experience either.More infoTangerine RoomPrice: Moderate• Californian• Anaheim•4.4
