Dakota is a beautiful restaurant with a varied menu of tasty food. It was more quiet than on most nights since we were there on a Monday which made the evening more enjoyable. My lamb chop appetizer was juicy and delicious, and my entree of Veal 3 Ways was equally superb. The Soft Shell Crab tastes as good as its impressive presentation. A nice selection of desserts tops off the evening. The service was impeccable throughout the evening. It is an excellent fine dining option on the Northshore that compares favorably with the New Orleans restaurant scene. Some might consider it a bit pricey but its not enough to dine down.

Enjoyed our Easter lunch, food was great as was our server. We will be back again for sure.

Outstanding restaurant. Great setting and vibe at the Southern Hotel. Service was excellent; attentive but not overbearing. Great menu choices. Had the cioppino and swordfish piccata; both were outstanding. Highly recommend.
