Chat Thai became an instant smash hit in 1989 when it opened its first restaurant with plenty of heat and authentic Thai dishes. We've since added restaurants in Circular Quay, Westfield Sydney, Neutral Bay, Chatswood and Galeries Victoria, and in 2015 we added organic, fresh produce from our farm in Byron Bay.     This is a cute restaurant, you feel like you have been transported to an old European type cafe/bistro Food is pretty good, ambiance is great, Wednesday's there is live jazz music, downstairs, and there's definitely a great vibe, mostly young artistic types, but we are in our 60's and had a great time

    Beautiful views and great food. The portions were generous and the price was very reasonable, considering you have the best view of the bridge and Opera House on the whole harbour Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    What an amazing little find. Very cosy and charismatic little place with background jazz playing. Luckily we had a booking as it was packed out for a Wednesday night. The reviews I’d read were spot on. Service was amazingly friendly and helpful. Can recommend the cocktails with their unique ice blocks containing fruit or cucumber! We shared 3 dishes and yuzu sorbet for dessert. Loved the grilled miso eggplant and mixed sashimi carpaccio and sorbet. The hojicya smoked duck was good also. Will definitely return as i need to try the tempura broccolini and beef tataki!!
