We went to celebrate my mother’s 88th birthday. The food was great, the service excellent (Leigh was amazing and so friendly), the price was incredibly reasonable for our party of 11 and the only reason the noise level was on the higher side was because of us! I particularly liked the personal touch of the birthday candles in my mum’s desert. I would totally recommend Carluccio’s (Gunwharf).

We got married 3 years ago at the Alverbank and they really went out of their way to ensure we had an amazing celebration. So we decided to celebrate our 3rd wedding Anniversary there. Megan and Harvey were very welcoming and accommodating. We had another lovely celebration. Thank you!

The fish soup was great unfortunately the steak was not good half of it was rare and half was medium it all should have been medium rare. It was taken off the bill but I would have preferred a perfectly cooked steak. Pistachio soufflé was as good as it always is but the crumble lacked crumble on top and there was not enough custard Service was very good. Overall it was a shame the food wasn’t great today.
