Casa Vega, in Sherman Oaks, opened its doors in 1956 and has been serving the people of Southern California ever since. Local residents, and even celebrities, have flocked to the family-run Mexican restaurant currently run by Christy Vega Fowler, daughter of original owner, Rafael Vega. While the decor is modern, the menu still reflects traditional Mexican menu staples. The extensive menu allows for every person to find something to enjoy. Homemade house guacamole, or one of the many soup or salad options, make for a great starter. The entree options are plentiful.     Came in this past Sunday for Easter Brunch and had such a great experience! We made a reservation and despite showing up early, they sat us right away! The Sunday brunch is amazing and such a great value! So many options to choose from! Great omelettes,enchiladas, seafood, tacos, prime rib and not to mention the desserts! It will take a few more visits to be able to try all the amazing food! The staff was so on point! Jose was our server who made sure to check in on us and keep the mimosos flowing! Joseph was bringing food to the buffet area and was so friendly and helpful! Pointing out ALL the different food options! Go check them out! You will love it! 😋

    From the moment we walk in, we are relaxed yet energized. The maître d’ greets us warmly, remembering our favorite table and server (Peter). Peter is such a friendly guy and always provides excellent service and never rushes us. He also makes the very best martinis! This is our favorite neighborhood bistro. It’s a jewel!
