This rating is for the champagne tasting. What an incredible experience! 4 tastes (VERY generous pours) of excellent, french champagne. Our server was so friendly and knowledgeable. The manager came over a few times and gave us an extra tasting at the end. We got a fig, arugula and proscruito pizza to start, which went really well with the champagne. We both loved our dinners - I got the jerk chicken (a little less spice than I like but still cooked well and delicious); my partner got the crunch green salad with salmon which he said was cooked perfectly We go here often and sit at the bar - get a cocktail and the chicken parm meatballs, which are evil but amazing. Cocktails are always strong and well prepared by friendly bartenders. Love Meritage and if they ever do another champagne tasting, we'll be there!

Best moule frite we have ever had - mussels cooked perfectly. Cod romano was excellent, as was the baked stuffed shrimp. The only regret was we didn't have room for the dessert, of which there was a large variety which looked decadent and yummy. Best of all, music inside was at a low level so we could actually talk and be heard while we enjoyed our meal.

Always enjoy our dining experience at Tavern in the Square.

Circe, East Greenwich, has not ever disappointed us. We had a wonderful dinner in peaceful surroundings in the dining room. The food & drinks were excellent! Our waitress was outstanding. Definitely our favorite place for special occasions.
