- MMariaKansas City / Kansas •1 review4.0Dined 3 days agoWe visited Hereford House on a Monday night and unfortunately, the experience was underwhelming. The restaurant was nearly empty, which we expected on a Monday—but the vibe felt more closed-up than relaxed. The steak I ordered came out overcooked, which was disappointing, especially for a steakhouse. Toward the end of our meal, the staff turned off the music, which made it feel like they were trying to usher us out. Service was polite, but overall, the food and atmosphere didn’t live up to expectations.More infoHereford House - ShawneePrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Shawnee•4.5
- KKaraKansas City / Kansas •2 reviews5.0Dined on Apr 16, 2025This was a fabulous experience, better than some restaurants we have been to lately. The food was amazing. There was such a wide selections to choose from. We came hungry and went home stuffed, and bought bakery items to enjoy later. We chatted with Chef Steve about the program. What a great experience to offer to the students. Classes, guest chefs, Bistro night, lunch option for the onsite staff and students, and bakery products and coffee/tea offered in the mornings staffed by Project Lead graduates to offer them further experience - all of these things make this a shining star example of what we can do to support the future of our children. We will most definitely continue to imbibe in the fruits of Bistro Cafes labor.More infoBroadmoor Bistro @ The Center for Academic AchievementPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Overland Park•4.9
