Enjoyed it very much. First time there. Service was a bit slow at times but we sat outside and there were long periods of time where we could not flag down service to order another glass. It was a bit far drive for us but would do it again. Very nice and diverse food options. Enjoyed the flight of wine options but only a 2 oz pour for each glass for the flight was a bit light. But would do it again and recommend it.

Food was delicious! I had the honor of Kara waiting on me. She was superbly attentive and accommodating. She only works occasionally since having her baby. I hope she could work more often since she is one of my favorite waitresses. I want to also commend Manager Chrissy and Hostess Dee for a job well done. I appreciate them treating me like royalty!

The Canal House is a perfect spot for any special occasion or just an enjoyable meal. The food is outstanding and the ambiance is relaxed and cozy with beautiful fresh cut flowers adorning each room. The wait staff is friendly and efficient - you never feel rushed. Suggest you check the menu before making a reservation and it's a BYOB.

Always a great experience, this time with bringing 'new to the area' friends to share. Warm greeting, excellent service, delicious specials. And the French onion soup is the perfect start.
