Best Casual Restaurants in Wellesley

Plenty of parking. Food and the service were excellent. Met old friends and we needed time to catch up. We didn't feel rushed at all.

Delightful! Sat outside on a beautiful evening. Inside busy, which is great!; but very noisy which would have made it impossible for one of my guests to hear and engage in conversation. Food terrific, staff kind and welcoming. Service a bit slow due to busyness.

Our party of 4 enjoyed our meal of appetizers & homemade pasta dishes. Our server knows his wines and allowed us to taste two wines before we agreed to the second bottle. He was friendly, available without being intrusive, and professional. Between 6:30-7:30 pm, the restaurant noise level was quite noisy such that we were having difficulty with conversation. And this was a Tuesday evening. After 7:30 pm, it became much easier to hear each other. Other than the noise level, we had a lovely evening at one of our local and valued restaurants.

The food (tacos, guacamole, a half platter nacho, sweet potato mash, tortilla soup) was all very good. My need for gluten free food was addressed professionally and there were lots of choices from the gluten-free menu. The real star, however, was our amazing waiter who was handling the whole room by himself at lunchtime. He was ably assisted by others who brought the food to the table when it was ready. Very professional and friendly service !!! My only caveat is the music, was very much too loud for lunchtime and for a restaurant that was not full. It was difficult to talk across a four person table and be heard.

Excellent food and super service. Our first time and we were pleasantly surprised with everything!
