Best Casual Restaurants in Edgware

Izgara is a local gem. We have been going for years and they have consistently delivered. This time we ordered the big platter for 5 people and there was plenty leftover for takeaway. Superb Turkish food cooked to order and great hospitality. Thank you!

This is just what the Whetstone High Street needs. It viby, delicious food. We had the chicken. The sirloin is a little fatty, but still ok. If there was recommendation to Meaa it would be to change it out for a lean rump or lean rib eye. Highly recommended place to go and eat and drink - loved the Pina Colada.

I took my elderly mother for High Chai on Mother’s Day. The selection of savoury and sweet options were delicious and adequate portion sizes. It was busy, however the staff were attentive and respectful.

It was a very busy night. We were very disappointed to be seated at a small table right next to the toilet door. It was claustrophobic and cramped. Food was good and the waitresses were very attentive and efficient though.

The room we were in was pleasant and as there were only 2 tables of people having afternoon tea it was quiet in there, so easy to chat. The service was good - very pleasant people. The food and selection was good - nothing spectacular but all very tasty, and we were given boxes to take away anything we couldn't finish. The only thing that would mark it down for us was they we were not offered a top-up of tea. We would probably have been given it if we had asked, but other venues offer it without you having to ask.
