On the whole we had a great meal, great service, lovely staff. Our sharing starter, the charcuterie board, wad amazing. My giardinera pasta was beautiful as usual. However my husband had the ragu which was dreadful. I'd have sent it back, but we were short of time and he didn't want a fuss. It was massively salty which was probably down to the fact that there was no discernable beef in the ragu sauce, but it was was full of olives. 10 of them. We hadnt looked that closely at the description. And our waitress told us we could have asked for a portion without olives. But this also makes us think they were just added from a jar as all you could taste was the olive pickle. Most unusual to have a poor dish here, what a shame.

I have been going to Bear for a number of years now , and can genuinely say that the service and food is excellent. My latest visit was on Easter Sunday this year and I noticed also that the seating arrangements had been updated and replaced with new styled seating for eating and lounging whilst you may drop in for that well deserved coffee break . It is well located and well kept and managed by helpful staff , who go the extra lengths to please the customer . Go try it and see yourself especially if you’re lucky to get a window seat view of the River . Highly recommended! DP (Wilmslow )

Had a great time at Off The Wall. Staff were really friendly, was a really cool vibe. The food was delicious and arrived quickly. The place was clean and inviting and music was good. Would definitely recommend a visit.
