El Mamakas es una elegante taberna griega con capacidad para 85 comensales situada en Ossington Avenue. Su propietario, Thanos Tripi, sirve auténtica cocina griega elaborada con productos frescos y platillos clásicos de la gastronomía griega con un enfoque contemporáneo. La taberna Mamakas utiliza principalmente productos frescos del mercado, como tomates, para rendir homenaje a la historia y la memoria de Grecia. La paithakia se elabora con carne comprada a un carnicero de confianza y el pescado del día procede de capturas frescas. Las recetas usadas en la cocina han pasado de generación en generación.
