El restaurante La Masseria se inspira en las antiguas casas de campo fortificadas de la región italiana de Puglia, llamadas "masseria". El chef ejecutivo y copropietario, Pino Coladonato, creció en una granja de Puglia. Allí debía comer lo que había, pero pronto se cansó del puré de frijoles y decidió ocuparse él de la cocina, ideando nuevas formas de utilizar los mismos pocos ingredientes. Ahora, aunque tiene ingredientes ilimitados para elegir, las habas, los garbanzos y las lentejas siguen siendo un elemento central en muchos de sus platillos principales. El diseñador de interiores Libby Langdon ha creado un ambiente cálido y acogedor en el salón comedor. Es un estilo rústico y relajado, con el encanto del Viejo Mundo. We will send a text to the phone number that was used to make your reservation once your table is ready for you. We only hold tables for reservation/and waitlist parties for 15 mins after the time you have booked or messaged your table is ready. We may not be able to seat you should you arrive late so please arrive on time. We do not require our guests or staff to wear masks if they are fully vaccinated. Leo’s was first opened in 1948 by Italian immigrants Pantaleone (Leo) Mancieri and his wife Virginia (Nonni). Established mainly as a pizzeria in the State Street section of Bristol, the restaurant quickly gained a local following and served as a popular lunch destination for workers and families alike. Leo and Virginia, along with sons Mario and Reno, worked tirelessly to produce great fresh Italian favorites and create a friendly environment for their customers.The original Leo’s remained open until 1976 when the family decided to close after Leo passes away, and in the year 2000 Leo’s grandson, Paul Mancieri, relocated to 365 Hope Street in the heart of historic downtown Bristol. Paul and his wife Adriana pride themselves on bringing back the spirit and the recipes of the pizzeria ran by Leo and Nonni. Welcome to Leo’s Ristorante!
