Piropos is a true Kansas City gem! There is a good reason Travis K wanted to bring Taylor S here on a special date. The atmosphere is great; fun, interesting, uniquely classy but comfortable; the wonderful and charming owner's special touch is seen everywhere! The food is always fresh and outstanding quality, from salads to sauces to seafood/fish and beyond! The service lines up as great as food and ambiance. PIROPOS is great as both a special date night in their dining room with amazing views of the downtown KCMO skyline, or the friendly bar with the "everybody knows your name " feel. Okay, so the decor? Fabulous. The game variety? Amazing. But the real stars are the customer service and the vibes. Food was delicious but it was also delivered accurately and quickly. Our server was so sweet. When I realized I lost my earbuds after I’d gone home, they searched for them even though they didn’t have to. And the night we were there, the place was full, but the noise was that pleasant sound of people being happy and enjoying each other’s company. Not drunk people. Community nerd people. It was my first experience with alcohol immediately after turning 21, and it was such a good one.

Very good experience, I took my mom who’s 85 out for Valentine’s Day. She ate to her heart’s content. It was very good. The service is always amazing, very attentive and very personable. Cheesy corn is awesome. Overall, a very good night and experience. Definitely worth it to make a reservation on a holiday, especially!
