August is a restaurant that sits in the old heritage church on Dornoch Terrace, West End. Our dining room is surrounded by objects, art, and the original pitched church ceiling and stained glass windows. Our menu is influenced by regional food from France, Italy and SpainAugust is open for dinner from 5pm on Thursday - Saturday, and from 111:30am for lunch on Saturday and Sunday. Couldn't fault the food and service at Cru, the portion sizes of the share plates were generous, the selection broad, and the quality and freshness of the food fantastic. Service was attentive without being intrusive, and very friendly and warm. The only negative was that the lighting at the table was so low it was difficult to read the menu, and the air conditioning was quite cold, though the server did attempt to get it turned up for us, which helped. Overall would highly recommend CRU Bar as an exceptional place to dine.

Great food. Value for money. We were sitting close to the bar and it was a little noisy when they were making cocktails. Friendly staff.
