Named for frequent historical visits from Thomas Edison and his "Vagabonds" (Edison, Harvey Firestone and Henry Ford), EDISON serves NC craft beers, small batch bourbons, handcrafted cocktails, and regionally inspired food in a contemporary, fun, and artistic setting.

Server was Kat, friendly and professional, with good recommendations - fried green tomatoes were excellent, as were the bison meatloaf, Tagliatelle, and salmon. View was amazing - prices reflect that, but we felt very well taken care of. Went to dinner on the earlier side, before 6 pm.

What a delightful experience at the Omni Grove Park Inn. We had excellent service, although it should be noted that it was not very busy while we were there. Excellent meals and good wine and cocktail choices. Definitely recommend!

Excellent food and great views; great job! Be aware there are lots of bees flying around this time of the year so if that’s an issue for you then you’ll want to sit inside.

This is a really nice restaurant and if you are seated to the right away from where the most of the TVs are, it’s quite romantic. We had an early dinner and truly enjoyed ourselves. The only drawback is the sun is shining right in through the windows, so you will see the gorgeous view, but need to wear sunglasses. Our server pulled down the shade which helped with the sun, but then we lost the view. All the food is incredible. I highly recommend the 1094 burger. Very enjoyable. We have been here as a family seated in a different part of the restaurant but this experience was different and better because it was a date night and we discovered a different section of the restaurant which made the ambience even better.

The food was fine, the atmosphere is great, the service was fine but the kitchen was exceptionally slow. Not sure if this was the server’s fault or the chef, but we waited over an hour for entrees. We shared our dismay with the manager who then offered free dessert,but really, over an hour for dinner to arrive?

Edison is one of our favorite places to eat at the Omni. It’s where we had our first meal after my husband and I got engaged and today, we went for the first time with our son. Food quality is always consistent and comforting.
