Marino Ristorante tiene sus bases en la idea de que todo se debe hacer de la manera correcta. Actualmente, el restaurante es propiedad de la familia integrada por Mario, Jr. y la madre, María, quienes dan la bienvenida a los comensales. El lugar es sencillo. Una pared de cristal, amenizada por las macetas en el exterior llenas de ficus, dan de frente a la famosa Melrose Avenue. Las paredes de colores suaves, telas de lino blanco almidonado, el carrito plateado de confitería, los soportes votivos, y las suaves pinturas al óleo se juntan para crear el atractivo del restaurante. Y luego, está la comida. Ciro, Mario y Sal fueron los primeros de los pocos chefs en ir diariamente al mercado en la mañana para seleccionar personalmente los ingredientes para el menú y buscar los insumos más interesantes y prístinos para los platillos especiales. El confiar en Mario para probar el delicioso menú es una decisión sabia. Al ser también un conocedor de vinos, Mario puede recomendar el menú y vino para cubrir de la mejor manera las expectativas de los comensales. La carta de vinos de Marino ha sido galardonada en repetidas ocasiones por la revista Wine Spectator.
