Chef AZEUCHI trained in the art of Kaiseki Course cuisine in Japan for 16 years. Upon graduating
culinary school, he began studying Kaiseki Course at a hotel. When he turned 27, he became sous-
chef at Hotel Nogamiya.
While there, he participated in a Tokushima Culinary Contest, where he won first prize. When he
was 35 years old, he joined Tofu Kaiseki Restaurant as their head chef.
During this time, he also studied French cuisine for 3 years, training under a Head Chef who had on-
the-job experience working in a prestigious French fine dining restaurant.
Chef Azeuchi quickly became the sous chef in the restaurant. When Japanese Crown Prince
Naruhito - now known as
"His Imperial Majesty the Emperor"- made a royal visit to Kagawa Prefecture, Chef Azeuchi
entertained him with his beautiful dishes.

Wonderful old school atmosphere with traditional Italian fare, live entertainment nightly and friendly, knowledgeable service. The food was delicious. The portions are of good size however it does seem to be a little on the pricey side. As always, the service was wonderful our waitress we had her many times and always very pleasant and prompt would recommend this place to our friends. We have taken quite a few people to this restaurant in the past.

Can’t believe we’ve never eaten here before. What a great experience! My husband and I both had specials -halibut and scallop and shrimp risotto. Both excellent! Prepared beautifully and without the extra salt that so many restaurants seem to use lately. The food was so tasty and delicious. Wine list is very good plus there was a wine special too! Service was impeccable. Can’t wait to go back!
