   We had never dined there and just wanted a different experience. Entrees were ok. I ordered blackened shrimp creole but the shrimp were not blackened. Dish itself was average. Didn’t complain because all other entrees were served. My wife’s crab cake was burned on the bottom. Cocktails there are cheap pours at an expensive price. Not worth the money. $13 for a martini that is half a small martini glass. Would not recommend this place. Sax player was good.

   Made reservations at 7:30 on a Saturday. We were seated quickly but not a waitress/waiter or any employee stopped by to say hello; or that someone will be with you soon. There were folks across and behind us with food. We left after 10 minutes. Very disappointing.

   DeSha's is always a winner. We were promptly seated, had excellent service, and the food was excellently prepared. The cornbread was delicious. We highly recommend DeSha's for a great value for money and an excellent staff that knows how to provide superior service and great dishes.

   Although the entire window section along the pond was booked and filled to capacity, the sound didn’t filter into our area alongside that section. Our waitress was fantastic. Food was excellent — as always. I usually meet friends here once or twice a month.
