   Service was good, sat near the bar area, super cold in that area, too cold for winter, we froze pretty much the whole time, food was ok, very little servings for Dine Downtown, couldn't get a feel of what food was really tasting like, all in all would not go back.

   I loved the experience, which included a family of seals barking after dinner songs! The food was tasty but the highlights were the ambiance and service!

   We did the Pilot House for the January Dine Downtown $45/pp menu. The menu appealed to us as did the venue. The old Delta King brings you back in time. We had a 6:30 Thursday night reservation and downtown old Sac was pretty empty. The restaurant filled up quickly and by 7pm was almost completely full. Our waitress Johanna?? was very pleasant and apologetic as the wait staff had more tables then normal. She comped the $15 corkage fee for the wine we brought. The shrimp skewers were excellent as was the short rib ravioli. Loved the twist on traditional tiramisu by doing it with Meyer lemon. You can almost imagine folks from a different era in the dining room or strolling around the decks outside the staterooms.

   Went during dine around town but did not know what this was and was not offered explanation. Dinner was good and service was nice. Unique setting indeed. Should be at least 3 $$$ signs or more.

   Arrived at 6:45 for a 7:00 reservation. Waited 45 minutes before we were seated in a secondary room. Waited another 25 minutes for water and silverware. Finally gave up and left. Never placed an order. Never even saw a waiter/waitress. Just a terrible experience.

   A friend and I went for Dine Downtown and we were very happy with not only the food but the service. Our server Cora, along with a few others made the evening very pleasant. I had the braised short rib raviolis, and my friend had the salmon. We were both very pleased with the delicious food. Dining on the Delta King was a lot of fun and the river view is amazing. I would recommend valet parking ($15 if you dine there) as old Sac parking can be challenging.

   We can here as a plan B. Missed the train. My grandson really enjoyed walking around the Delta Queen. He had lots of time to do this with his grandpa because the poor server had no help. The food was good. We would go back if that is what our grandson requests.

   Dine downtown experience was fantastic. Opted to sit at the bar, which had live music on a Saturday. Food was delicious and service by the bartender Shad was great!

   It is a cool place to have a restaurant, but the bar has a better vibe and the top deck view. The menu is small and only had one beef option ( beef ravioles). The portions are fairly modest ( thee raviolis for the entree). Our server had a cold or something and we had to ask for drink refills and the dinner bread that comes with the dinner. I think she was the only server of several tables, so I don’t totally blame her for neglecting us. We ordered a course meal option that consisted of three course. Choices were , salad or two bacon wrapped shrimp, beef ravioli, salmon and rice or califlower . There were two desert options. The kitchen made us feel a little rushed as they brought the servings out on top of each other. The meals were $45 a person. On a side note, while making our reservation we noted that it was our anniversary and mentioned it upon sitting. I understand not all restaurants do anything for special occasions but it would have been nice for the server to acknowledge us. All in all, it wasn’t horrible but the vibe was cold and the portions were small. We ended up going across the street and getting a burger after dinner.

    So, on a cost benefit analysis I expected more for the price. A better menu and more selections would be nice. I wasn’t sure if they were just understaffed but I felt myself and myself and my date had to be very assertive to obtain service. Once they were there it was okay. I might go back one day.
