   As usual, Deerfield is a nice and pleasant experience. We were there for the Easter Brunch this time (usually am there for golf) and the servers and other staff were excellent. Would highly recommend not only golf, but eating here as well.

   My favorite way to spend the holiday! Always good quality & everyone is so attentive and friendly! As long as they have the holiday buffet, we will be spending holidays at Deerfields!

   Excellent Easter Brunch. Tables well positioned food stations clean and filled promptly Wide choice of entrees. All food was either hot or warm and excellent taste Belgian waffle bar was like eating air with cream and various fruits to die for Just a FYI I usually never leave a review but this Brunch was beyond expectations Service was attentive to needs and removing used plates promptly

   We had a lovely dinner and Tom, who served our table, was friendly, while remaining professional and efficient. There were a lot of delicious food choices, all excellent and nicely presented. The facility was decorated beautifully overall too. If there was any one disappointment of the day it was with the seriously picked over selection of desserts. The complimentary chocolate Santa’s were gone by the time we got to the dessert table, and we were told there were no more available. As you might imagine, that didn’t go over well with our five children who looked forward to getting one.

   Went for breakfast with Santa. This year wasn’t as good as other years. It seems they’ve reduced the food options and they’ve gone up in price.

   We have visited Deerfield holiday buffets for 20 or more years when traveling from DC to attend Longwood Gardens and other Wilmington tourist sites. Our opinions have changed over the years from superb to less today. Although an interesting experience still with lots of food choices, it feels less magical than in the past and the price is higher. Management change, chef's choices, inflation, Covid; who knows. For a locals, a nice family adventure, but not a special as it was.

    Food was cold and overcooked. Except for carving station, no labels on food. They were understaffed and service was non-existent (we had to clear our own plates). For the price this buffet was a total rip-off.
