   Everything at Da Filippo is fresh, delicious, and presented beautifully from appetizers to dessert. An authentic italian restaurant from the layout to the food to the service.

   Filippo is the best. After a wonderful meal, he jumps out on the piano for a few songs a great evening.

   This was my first time dining at da Filippo, and I look forward to going again. We tried all three specials, and all were excellent. Dinner was special and was the best meal I have had in the Somerville area. The piano playing and singing only added to an amazing night.

   Truly amazing dinner…food, hospitality and overall vibe all on point. And it’s always a treat to hear Filipo sing and play piano !

   Filippo and Berti are awesome people who truly care about their patrons. The food, music, and ambiance was spectacular at Fa Filippo’s. I will recommend this restaurant to everyone who wants to enjoy the full Sicilian cuisine. Five star!!

   Amazing restaurant, first time in US I ate European quality food, great taste, all homemade, definitely will come back, very nice and helpful owners, they came to welcome us. First time I don't receive check before I ask, which is amazing and I really appreciate that, that's how it should works everywhere, look and learn Americans :)

   One of the best Italian restaurants. Beats almost all places in Manhattan. It is really a gem. Second time dinning. The food is perfect . It is BYOB, so bring your wine. Everything we tried was amazing. Small me u and everything if cook per order. Best cream brûlée I’ve had in years. If you’re ever in the area, please try it.

   Celebrated our twins 54th b'day. The owner sang happy birthday to Dawn and Shawn separately. There were 6 of us, 3 had pasta dishes that were outstanding! The others had meat dishes that were superb. The hostess is very gracious and the service was excellent. Dessert was fabulous. We will definitly go back again.

   Outstanding dinner. My date had the Pork special and I had the Pork Saltimbocca. Both were delicious as were the Bruschetta and dessert. The staff also made my Spanish speaking date feel more comfortable by speaking Spanish with her and in Italian/English for me. Thank you!

    The food was prepared nicely. The prices were too high. $18.00 for a small bowl of vegetable barley soup, $36.00 for 3 eggplant rollatini with green beans (which were over-salted) and potatoes. $38.00 for rigatoni with ground beef is too much to pay. The server told us we could have one bread basket containing 2 rolls and then we would have to pay for any more bread baskets. Unfortunately the 4 people sitting at the table across from us were talking very loud and made the atmosphere less intimate. The 3 server assistants were standing in the dining room talking and a bell rings when the meals are ready to be served.

    I would not recommend you to any other fine restaurant since you don`t understand fine high end quality ingredients. You request the salad with white balsamic vinegar dressing on the side, which we did, then you sent back. You got disappointed that the EVOO & vinegar was sent separately in ceramic ramekins, and you did complaint that was not the one in the plastic bottle which normally you`ll find on the shelf in any supermarket. Your inappropriate remarks on the 3 elegant, dressed server assistants and the beautiful classic sound of a bell shows how much you know about fine service. Filippo
