Food was great although the portions are tiny and expensive! The service was great to a point we had multiple servers and they mixed up our orders and started sending two orders of dishes we only ordered once. Nevertheless I’ll come back again, for the food and the atmosphere!

We attended an event at the Pasadena Convention Center for my daughter who competed in state finals gymnastics. She loves Gyu Kaku and this one was near. I made reservation for 5:15p. But only put 2. When it was 3 of us. By accident. When we arrived I explained this mistake to staff and they kindly accepted us anyway. And sat us right away. Our servers were tentative and prompt. The food was fresh and so flavorful. Everything was delicious.

So much fun! Definitely a place to get dressed up and take the cutest photos. The tea was so yummy, the food was also really good. I would say be aware it can get pricy fast, as there is a mandatory minimum purchase of 40~ dollars per person. Though they are understanding if someone isn’t hungry and doesn’t want to purchase anything. I myself ended up spending 60$ for an eggs Benedict + tea + scone. Overall, it was a fun experience especially for the birthday!

The noodles were perfectly cooked, and the toppings (from soft-boiled eggs to tender slices of pork) really elevated the dish. It's easily one of the best ramen bowls I've had. To round out the meal, I enjoyed a glass of cold sake. It was smooth and refreshing, a perfect complement to the meal. Overall, everything was great. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food came out quickly without sacrificing quality. Whether you're a fan of yakitori or ramen, this place does it right.
