Overall, the service was wonderful, except when there was a shift change; wait time, bill, etc.. The manager and server, Whitney, who was so helpful, even though we were not her table. They more than made up for it. Highly recommend... Enjoy!More infoPlanta Cocina - Marina del ReyPrice: Moderate• Vegetarian / Vegan• Marina del Rey•4.5

- MMarvinLas Vegas •3 reviews4.0Dined on Feb 23, 2025My girlfriend and I celebrated her birthday at Saloon Osaka off Imperial Ave and had a good experience. Before dinner, we enjoyed some plane watching at Clutter’s Park, which set a relaxed tone for the evening. The food was delicious— we ordered the gyu-don, unagi avocado bowl, four handrolls (two toro and two salmon), and two pieces of aji nigiri. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. However, when it got busy, service lagged a bit. One server seemed unfamiliar with the menu, and with only one sushi chef handling all tables, our waits stretched longer than expected. In fact, I waited an extra 10-15 minutes for my aji nigiri, though I ordered it in the middle of the meal. Despite these hiccups, the attentive staff made it right by offering us a complimentary dessert after noticing our delay. Overall, while the pace could use some improvement on busy nights, the quality of the food and the restaurant’s commitment to customer satisfaction made our birthday dinner a worthwhile experience.More infoSaloon OsakaPrice: Moderate• Japanese• El Segundo•4.4
