- AAlanFresno / San Joaquin Valley •4 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoI am not a big Cajun fan, but Jazz Kitchen changed my mind. We sat inside by the piano player, so when they were playing, it was louder but good music. Don't forget to order the beignets. I ordered the Quartet with the different flavors, but my favorite was the plain glazed. If you thought you liked Mickey Beignets in the park, these are way better! Our server was courteous and attentive without hovering. Overall, a strong recommendation for the Jazz KitchenMore infoJazz Kitchen Coastal Grill & PatioPrice: Moderate• Creole / Cajun / Southern• Anaheim•4.5
- IIsabelle1 review4.0Dined on Apr 12, 20254/5 Stars The food and atmosphere at Smoqued were great — definitely lived up to the hype. It was surprisingly slow for a Friday night, most likely due to Coachella weekend, so we were expecting a more relaxed vibe. Regardless burnt ends are to die for and the brisket meal is tender and delicious. Mac N cheese was slightly dry, but hey you can’t win em all. We’re not sure who our server was since she never introduced herself, which made things feel a bit impersonal. She was incredibly sweet and kind, but seemed a little unfamiliar with the menu and forgot parts of our order. It’s possible it was just an off night, but when it comes to service, it’s the little details that make the biggest difference. All that said, we’d still come back — the food alone is worth another visit.More infoSmoqued California BarbequePrice: Moderate• Barbecue• Orange•4.5
- LLarryOrange County •72 reviews4.0Dined on Mar 16, 2025Sauced recently introduced smoked prime rib. This very hard to find dish is a huge hit for us and it's what has shortened our time between visits. We only wish they would promote it more using table top tents or simply adding it to the chalk board at the front door. It's easy to overlook on the menu. A couple of things we would change: 1) get a bigger bowl for the salads. And serve it with two sides of dressing. 2) serve the prime rib on a plate. The bowl is just plain weird.More infoSauced BBQ & Spirits - IrvinePrice: Moderate• Barbecue• Irvine•4.1
