Food and service was fabulous ! Our wagers even brought out to me my To Go bag that I forgot!

The food and service was good. This is that one place that people seem to forget about, but is always going to be a very good time. Prices are reasonable too! The only odd thing was the Oysters Rockefeller; it was not served inside the shell, but inside a dish with shell shapes, but there was hardly any oyster for all of the parmesan cheese.

Food was great, I think one server was helping the entire restaurant and she was super slow. Waited like 15 minutes on a piece of pie.

We would have gone sooner if we realized that the rebranding of Our Palafox to Old Palafox was not a subtle name change but rather an entire changing of the guard. We tried multiple small plates and entrees and enjoyed every one. The waiter was experienced and attentive. The bartender came and chatted with us and tested out some new cocktail concepts to get some feedback. Complimentary bread pudding was NOT in the plan, but it was absolutely delicious.

I made a reservation for 2 at 5pm a while ago. We arrived at 4:45 pm. When I checked in at the hostess stand I was told my name was on a waiting list as they don't take reservations but here I am making comments to my Open Table reservation that they don't take. A bit strange to say the least. First time I have heard from an Open Table vendor that they don't take reservations when I clearly made one. The meal was great and appreciated the Fish House being open on Christmas.
