Best Indian Restaurants in New Hyde Park

Not your typical indian restaurant, a step above the rest. Decor is pleasant, food it great. I went with my friend who does not like "hot" spicy food and they were able to cater to her needs. The duck roll appetizer and lamb shank dishes had wonderful flavor. Highly recommended.

The food is always delicious and the vibe is inviting. We always go here as a family for Easter Brunch and the prices are affordable, definitely recommend The Cove !

First time & def will come back again another time

We haven’t been here in 4 years because we did not enjoy the food back then. We were craving Indian food and a friend suggested we try it because they changed their menu. It’s close to our home so we went and were very pleased with the food this time We had the Gobi Manchurian to start and Palak paneer and Hadwala chicken as our entrees accompanied by basmati rice and garlic naan. Everything was delicious. Our waitress was pleasant and attentive. The decor is simple but there was a big party in the next room and it was beautifully decorated and the buffet spread looked wonderful

Simply put, the food and service were amazing. In my party we had the chicken and vegetable samosas, shrimp curry, garlic and onion naan, and lamb. Everything was bursting with flavor and the sauces that came with the dishes were delicious. The portions will fill you; we even had leftovers. Our water glasses were never empty. The servers were attentive without being a nuisance. The restaurant, including the bathroom, was clean and well kept. This was the best Indian food I've had in a while and I will definitely be returning.
