Even when full on a Saturday night, it wasn't too loud. Very comfortable chairs. Highly recommend and the lunch specials look fantastic for price and variety.More infoTikkaPrice: Moderate• Indian• Van Ness•4.8

- VVarunNew York City •1 review5.0Dined on Apr 13, 2025GOAT Room – A Culinary Journey Home From the moment we walked into GOAT Room, we were welcomed with warmth, grace, and hospitality that instantly made us feel at home. The service was impeccable—courteous without being overbearing, and every server we encountered knew the menu like the back of their hand, guiding us through with thoughtful recommendations and genuine passion. And then came the food—oh, the food. We began with the dahi papdi chaat, which was hands down one of the best I've had in years. The garnishing was exquisite, and the tamarind chutney was a nostalgic punch of flavor—just like my grandma used to make. The achari chicken and lamb seekh kebabs were showstoppers: beautifully marinated, juicy, and packed with layered spices that lingered perfectly on the palate. The salmon kebabs and tandoori shrimp were cooked to absolute perfection—charred edges, smoky flavor, and melt-in-your-mouth tenderness that rivals any top-tier restaurant in London. To my surprise (and delight), my kids couldn’t get enough of the palak paneer and butter chicken—a rare feat for picky little eaters. The naans were divine—a perfect balance of crispy edges and pillowy softness. And don’t even get me started on the goat curry and channa masala. The masalas were fresh, nuanced, and comforting—each bite felt like a warm hug from home. Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, dessert arrived. A homemade kulfi that married the richness of rasmalai with the creaminess of ice cream—it was genius. And the falooda? A time machine straight to Punjab. GOAT Room isn’t just a meal; it’s an experience. The food is rooted in tradition, executed with finesse, and plated with heart. If you’re craving authenticity, comfort, and culinary excellence—you need to get here. I can’t recommend it enough!!!More infoG.O.A.T. RoomPrice: Moderate• Indian• Downtown•4.8
- DDanSacramento / Sacramento Valley •9 reviews4.0Dined on Sep 7, 2024Service and flavors were very good. Only issue that we experienced was that we had 3 different entrees that had chicken. Though flavors were great, the chicken in all 3 dishes were very dry.More infoHimalayan Heritage Restaurant & BarPrice: Moderate• Indian• Adams Morgan•4.3
