This was our first experience of Georgian food. We were seated comfortably at a communal table but never felt cramped. The vibe is low key and pleasant. Service was friendly and efficient. The wine list is all Georgian but our waiter guided us to some styles that were familiar to us and we found equivalents of pinot noir and sauvignon blanc. Not great, but adequate. We started with the eggplant rolls (excellent), followed by the beef/pork khinkali (a wonderful dumpling discovery), then for mains the chicken with blackberry sauce (very good) and the Chaqapuli veal stew (decent but not our favorite). We would have tried the house specialty Khachapuri cheese pastry but one of us is lactose intolerant. The meal with tax and tip and 6 glasses of wine was less than $80 per person, which was reasonable. I hope this restaurant succeeds and I hope to return.

Delicious beef stew and bean khachapuri like a doughy quesadilla. Good georgian wine too. I recommend!!

Khinkali and khachapuri were bloody delicious and ambience is very cool and quiet. If you are in Manhattan you should definitely visit this 🇬🇪Georgian restaurant
