Best Contemporary American Restaurants in Hanson Park

We went to Encore, their adjacent Jazz room. Food was good, music was great!

An amazing dining experience as always. The duck was beyond magnificent, and Augustus as always is a rock star!

We had brunch at Hemmingway’s Bistro, and from the moment we stepped in, we were treated like royalty. The service was warm and attentive, and the entire experience felt elevated and thoughtful. The atmosphere is elegant and inviting—our cozy dining nook felt perfectly private, which made the meal even more enjoyable. We started with the scallop special as an appetizer, and it was absolutely outstanding. Every dish we ordered was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience!

I accidentally found this place, (it was just near the show,) I liked it so much that the next day I came again with my husband, despite the fact that it is quite far from our house, I can’t vouch for the entire menu, but everything we tried was very tasty fresh and very creative

So when I first entered I was greeted by a very polite young man who explained to me I would need to be searched. I didn't understand at first because I've never gotten searched to enter a restaurant. So I allowed this because I was meeting a friend and she was in route. Has Chicago gotten so bad that at 4pm on a weekday you have to be searched to get a decent meal on the Westside? Other then that and a little slow service the atmosphere was great the food was fantastic and the prices were reasonable. So I can give them four stars. But I suggest a discreet metal detector because I would never bring my business clients to a place and have to be physically searched
