   lovely and unusual setting. If you want noise then this is not the pace to be. Very good service and good to be able to talk to fellow diners due to low noise level.

   Went with my wife and mother for pre theatre lunch. We had ham hoc terrine x2 and salmon parfait for starters, followed by the fish, chicken and lamb for main. We had dessert too. All of it was lovely, well cooked and tasty! The waiting staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Would highly recommend!

   Excellent decor and atmosphere. Food was nicely presented but chicken was dry and overcooked.

   This restaurant really is a hidden gem. For a pre-theatre meal I don’t think there is anywhere better in Nottingham. It’s close to the theatre, the food and service is excellent. It is however very quiet, there were only 2 tables occupied whilst we were dining which means it lacks atmosphere and I don’t want it to be so quiet that it closes down as that would be a real shame. Trust me folks you need to try it

   My partner and I really enjoyed all three courses here before going to the Concert Hall. Recommended.

   We had a lovely meal it’s always tasty and good sized portion with fresh baked bread, I think the waiter was training and was a little inexperienced but I am sure they will get better over time, but we will not be put off from visiting as food always good and staff are very pleasant . We have visited several times and will return soon
