   Imagine the pictures but full of people standing! Definitely not a restaurant. Shoved through a busy bar of people to a couple of tables at the back by security then left with menus for 30 minutes without anyone telling us to order at bar. When we finally asked someone carrying empty glasses he said to go order at bar. We queued for 20 mins at the bar to order food but only one bar staff for 50+ people waiting to be served so realised it wasn’t going to happen so left. Shame because the menu looked nice and it could have been pretty easy for them to prioritise food orders at the bar.

   Easy going and informal. Not too busy for City lunches which is appealing. Mgmt/Bar Staff very friendly and relaxed. Food menu not extensive but decent pub grub type food.

   Easy going place for pub type grub. Even when busy not claustrophobic with mass people like other city eateries during peak rush hour. Nice staff and decent service.

   Great place in the heart of the City. Decent simple pub grub type food. Has tables outside which is nice when weather is hot. Seen an improvement in waiter and bar service over the last 6 months and staff are very friendly and personable. I do find drinks however a little pricey for the type of venue that it is, but they still have a decent selection of alcohol for you to choose from. If I recall a large glass of wine is circa £9. However it's a nice place to eat and catchup during the day.

   Nice venue, not usually overly busy at lunch so a good place to eat simple type pub grub and catch up. Simple menu, not vast. Options to eat outside in nice weather. Staff pleasant.

   Simple pub grub type menu, very informal setting. Pleasant staff and service. Can dine outside which adds to appeal on a nice day. Would recommend.

   Nice simple place for dining. Food menu not extensive but offers pub like grub. Service is attentive and food delivery prompt and well presented. One of my frequented lunch eateries mainly due to the fact it is not always overly filled and noisy like other local places.

   More known for its downstairs Party Floor on a Thursday and Friday night, I feel the small dining area upstairs isn't marketed enough as it's decent for homemade styled pub food. Nothing is gourmet but it's nice, generously portioned and simple. It's definitely a nice place for lunch whilst all the other City venues are seemingly overly busy and noisy. As a regular, I've seen a big difference in the quality of staff who seem much more attentive than previously. All in all a nice simple place for a meal and catchup.

    Normally fairly quiet place for a late lunch during the week so I like it for that reason. Service is decent, although the Bar Person tends to double as a Server so could be problematic is when trying to do both. However, food is simple, not gourmet and the menu is not extensive. Alcoholic drinks are expensive for the type of diner it is but overall a cosy place for a meal and conversation if you require nothing more.
