   Dinner was elegant and sophisticated, wine list was exceptional and service on point, thank you chef and staff for a wonderful dinner, I recommend this jewel of a restaurant, we will be back soon.

   This really is my favorite restaurant in DC. Chef is brilliant with his fresh tuna preparation and sushi rice. One of my all time favorites. Can't praise him high enough.

   As always, excellent food and service. Sat outside due to Covid and although it is only an alleyway, they’ve done a good job making it presentable

   It was wonderful to see Corduroy reopen again. This is a gem of a restaurant, with a creative but approachable menu, and elegant dining room with a lot of natural separation between tables, even before the pandemic, and excellent staff. The Maitre d' was very personable and fun to talk to. Service was intelligent, attentive, and not at all overbearing. The wine menu is excellent, and all four of us loved our appetizers, main courses, and dessert. First white tablecloth dining in over a year, with vaccinated friends, and we were glad to break the fast, so to speak, at Corduroy. No valet parking yet, but street parking easy on a Sunday night.

   The outside seating was spacious and comfortable. The service was food and the wait staff was very attentive and provided excellent drink and food recommendation. Definitely returning.

   Great to have Corduroy Restaurant back. Great food, service, and the restaurant is beautiful and not noisy. Soft shell crabs a must!

   Delicious food, fine dining, elegant and cozy setting ideal for a date but also to enjoy with a group of friends. The chowder and the tuna are must-have. The tuna tartar and the snapper were good too, especially the lentils that came with it are very tasty. Drinks are fine but not a strength. Service attentive but a little chaotic and left us with the chocolate torte instead of the sabayon - possibly a serendipitous oversight since it was delicious!

   Glad to see Corduroy and Tom Power back (reopened on April 15); restaurant was about 60% full and there was one large happy group, so not quite as serene as usual. Food was up to its pre-virus excellent standard and service very polished. Great value fir the quality!

    I've been trying to get back to this restaurant for months and was afraid this gem would be lost. Fortunately, they've reopened! The food was spectacular! We ordered the tasting menu with specific dietary restrictions. As always, Chef delivered. Our first course was this amazing asparagus soup. It was seasoned with dashi, fresh chives, lemon and had a slight kick at the end. It was a perfect balance for the palate. The soup was followed by turmeric spiced warm green beans served on a bed of mixed greens and other vegetables. It combined of texture, flavor and temperature. Our next course was a piece of seared black cod served on a bed of morels sautéed with fresh lima beans and herbs. The cod was followed by Indian spice infused lentils served on a bed of fresh greens . Are you getting full? I was! However, the lentils were followed by one of my all time favorites! Chef's specialty of rare seared tuna on top of his famous sushi rice... My descriptions cannot do this dish justice. Our desserts were 3 homemade sorbets for me, blackberry, grape and strawberry and a chocolate tart with house made vanilla ice cream. Everything was perfectly prepared, balanced and presented! Our waiter was wonderfully attentive and recommended a great wine to complement the food. I am so excited they've reopened and can't wait to go back again soon.
