Clos Maggiore is an oasis of calm in the heart of Covent Garden. Influenced by the stylish country inns of Provence and Tuscany its unique interiors create a warmth and intimacy enjoyed by both business and private parties. The conservatory has a fully retractable glass roof creating a bright and airy dining space. Our extensive cellar at Clos Maggiore includes over 2,000 labels and was extended earlier this year to include an additional 400 wines at a low – mid price range. We are very proud to have been awarded the “Best of Award of Excellence” consistently since 2003 by Wine Spectator.

    I had 17 nights in Europe and this one was the highest quality (no disrespect to any of the other restaurants I hit up). It’s fine dining, so be prepared on that end, but it is the best meal you may have in your life. Would go back to London again just for their scallops and tortellini

    Staff are very friendly but service wasn't to the standard expected. Food was OK, nothing extra ordinary, thus over priced. I am not sure how much I would recommend it. Its maybe 6/10.

    Das Restaurant hat ein wunderbares Ambiente. Der Empfang war herzlich und warm. Unsere reservierung konnte leider erst amspäten Abend beginnen. Das führte dazu, das das angebotene Menü gerade noch so bestellt worden konnte inder Küche und wir entsprechend im Eilverfahren seriert bekamen. Leider waren die Speisen teils kalt. Das in dem Menü viel zuviel Fleisch war, hatten wir nicht richtig gesehen, so das das eher unser Fehler war. Leider konnten wir das Essen deswegen nicht richtig genießen. Ein Menü benötigt halt auch einwenig Zeit, und wir wurden gedrängt das lokal zu verlassen indem man das Licht eingeschaltet hat. Summasumarum wirklich schade, weil es vom Ambiente her wirklich zauberhaft war.

    It was an enjoyable Easter Brunch. The service was friendly and attentive. The food was all tasty and properly prepared. The menu was a reasonable value. Mostly, kudos to the restaurant for the beautiful Easter decorations. They clearly went out of their way to ensure that customers had lovely decor for our Easter celebration. Thanks.

    Food OK. Wouldn’t go again. Had pre-theatre meal with wine. Sparkling was flat and sommelier couldn’t even be bothered to tell us what carafe contained. Sneaky hidden charges on bill nearly impossible to read. Wasn’t even given time to do so though as payment machine instantly produced to pressure quick payment, then they tried to make off with the bill so I couldn’t read it. I asked to get it back so later discovered how many rip off tricks they had used. Leave this place for the tourists.
