A couple enjoying each others company tucked into a banquette late in the evening…a group of girlfriends people-watching from the sidewalk tables over brunch…two neighbors stopping by to grab lunch at the bar.


These people all have one thing in common as they enjoy a meal here on Fillmore Street in Pacific Heights- Chouquet's. Whether inside our dining room or outside under the heated protection of our large awning, diners come to Chouquet’s to enjoy fresh, seasonal French bistro fare in a casual yet refined environment.     Our loved and valued neighborhood bistro. Staff is friendly, food is delicious and the location quietly out of the mix.

    We had a delicious and delightful lunch. There was a band playing it was enchanting. The service was great and attentive. The boeuf bourguignon there is spectacular and the portion is a good size portion. The steak frites is also a nice option, the meat was juicy and that peppercorn sauce was very tasty, we paired the steak with a bubbly rosé. Finally we made sure to save some room for desert and tried there crème brûlée and fondant au chocolat served with ice-cream and both were delicious!

    Cute restaurant but they were pushy to let us know we only had an hour at the table because of “Easter”. Did not like feeling rushed. Wine and food were good, could have been a better experience overall.

    Chouquet's is my second dining room and go-to eatery. Love the food, the people, and the ambiance.

    We had a lovely lunch with Mark our server adding so much more than just taking our orders. Truly he's a gem, just like this restaurant is. Great Tuna Tartare and wow wow wow for those purple chips. We'll be back soon

    We went for brunch on Sunday and it was a lively place with a band playing outside. Not our first time there, and it is a neighborhood gem. So far, we tried their croque monsieur, burger, steak frites, short ribs but the most delicious plate was the boeuf bourguignon do try it! Service is quick and they have indoor and outdoor seating as well. Nice French restaurant add it to your list.

    Amazing service and great food. It is so lovely to sit outside and enjoy the music while eating the most delicious, fresh French food. Service was prompt!

    The mussels were rotted and smelled foul music very loud duck confit old and mushy don’t eat there
