Our dream is to bring a traditional Southern Mexican restaurant to Denver....One in which we welcome guests as much as we do in our own home. We have brought our parents' recipes to Denver. Our wish is that the way you eat here is exactly how we eat at our house in Puebla, Mexico. Just as in Mexico, we want you to feel as though our house is your house.
Our cuisine is distincly Southern Mexican, which offers our guests many unique choices that have scarcely been offered in Colorado. We encourage our guests to try something new! It is our guarantee that whatever you do not like, we will take back and make something else, no questions asked. Our food is not fusion, it is not modern, it is not tex-mex. It is simply traditional, flavorful Pueblan cuisine that has been passed down through many generations of our family. Although we do not have burritos nor green chili in Puebla, we have added those items to the menu for those guests desiring something a little more Mexican-American.

The soup way way too salty. They apologized, shared with the chef and took the price of the soup off the bill. Wonderful food and service otherwise.

This place was fabulous! How did I not know about it before now? The owner was personable and friendly, and the food was soooo good. Service was great, too. The mole was the best I've ever had. Highly recommend this place, try it!

Consistently great food and great service. Th we had the ceviche, ribeye poblano, mole poblano, and ice cream & platano dessert. All were excellent!

Authentic! The grandmother came out and served a us! This restaurant has been open for 15 years. We came on the night of their 15th anniversary so they were serving a special menu. Delicious food, a bit spicy and the margarita was perfect!

I have been to Chili Verde multiple times in the past, it never disappoints. The food and drinks are good- and the staff is very friendly!

We dined here for the first time since pre-COVID before The Rolling Stones show at Mile High. The room was packed and busy as you might expect but with our reservation, we were seated quickly. The service was polite but harried and we felt we were being rushed although we arrived near the tail end of the busiest time. My wife ordered the flautas and two out of the three were over fried. I ordered the mole verde which was delicious, but the portion size was tiny. I was expecting something a bit more substantial for $17.00. Due to the show, this may have been an off night, but we were a bit disappointed for the value.

Went there before a concert. The food was so so and the service was also. They charged us double for the drinks. They fixed the bill. Don't think I will ever go there again.

Fantastic food, drinks, and service! The sangria was the best I have ever had. The ceviche fresh and tamales fantastic. Will definitely be back!
