The Chesapeake Inn is the place for everyone. The Main Dining Room boasts a beautiful waterfront view, along with a great bar scene and an outdoor Terrace for dining. The menu features jumbo lump crab cakes, fresh seafood specials, prime steaks, and shareable options. The dining room is open year round. Please call for parties of 10 or more and information on our lower level Deck.

Fabulous lunch after UD Lerner Convocation ceremony Friday!!! Everything was delicious from the scallops to the shrimp tempura roll (forget what it was called). Don't wait til graduation to try this place!!!

This was our first time visiting and dining here at the Chesapeake Inn Restaurant & Marina. Relatively short drive from our home in Delaware. Really cute little restaurant with lots of great, tasty food options. It was a bit windy when we dined here, so we opted for inside dining and still enjoyed a great view of the marina. Chesapeake Inn was highly recommended to us and I can see why. We will definitely be back again soon!

We dined here for our anniversary and had made note of that on our reservation. The morning of our reservation the restaurant called to confirm and wished us a happy anniversary. Upon arriving at the restaurant we were promptly greeted and again wished a happy anniversary. After being seated our server also wished us a happy anniversary! Our server, Rachel, was fantastic. She was prompt and attentive and also made great menu suggestions. Our meals were delicious. We had the traditional calamari and a salmon roll for appetizers and for dinner my wife had halibut Chesapeake and I had the crab cakes. Everything was excellent and the portions were perfect. After our meals our server brought a sparkler and two complimentary glasses of champagne in celebration of our anniversary! It was unexpected and really added to an already great experience. We highly recommend Chesapeake Inn! It’s not often that we go out to eat and are completely satisfied with the service, the food, and the atmosphere. Chesapeake Inn checks all of those boxes. If you’re thinking about it… just go!!
